Acquisition - Processing - Storage - Sharing: Research data management in interdisciplinary membrane research

To elucidate the function of membrane proteins in space and time requires the application of a broad variety of data-intense techniques resulting in a heterogeneous set of research data. The aim of project INF is to provide a data management platform for the research data of the CRC 1208 to ensure data handling in accordance with the FAIR (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability) Guiding Principles to enhance the reusability of scientific data throughout its lifecycle. Next to the technical aspects of integrative data management we aim to increase the awareness for the importance and the benefits of sustainable data management among the CRC researchers.
